I specifically wanted to train Marcelo Garcia Jiu Jitsu and that's exactly what you'll get here, in both Gi and No Gi. Along with Boxing, Muay Thai, and a women's boot camp, your younger children can come to train and learn a skill that will not only offer them a safe, fun environment, but serve them the rest of their lives. This facility is large, clean and packed full of competitive champions. Not only do they get out there and do it, but they get out there and keep doing it. No one is made to feel uncomfortable at any age or skill level. They have female instructors as well as males and the women teach the younger kids. My daughter went for her trial day and she loved it. They make the kids classes fun. I've been coming close to six months now and I haven't met one person that wasn't kind or helpful. I really look forward to training here a long time, making new friends with nice people and entering Jiu Jitsu competitions. The trial class is free with no commitment. Come give it a try, it will change and improve your life for the better.
If there was one place to send your child to learn self defense, and more importantly, confidence, this would be the place. The staff not only knows what they are talking about, but they take a personal approach to every person that is part of the Ultimate MMA family. Fun, friendly environment. Completely different than most would expect. The staff and students are all great mannered, friendly, fun and challenging. You won't be disappointed, also like to add how clean the gym and facilities are.
Andrew Calandrelli is not only extremely knowledgeable, he is also a talented teacher. I've been to other martial arts schools, some good, some not so much and I have never had the quality of instruction that I've had at this school. Andrew's staff is professional, friendly and have a sincere love for what they do. The facility is exactly what you would imagine a great school to be. The students range in skill level from beginner to expert, but I've noticed that if you train with someone who is much better than you are, it's likely that they'll take a moment to give you some tips to make you better. Great staff, great students, great facility. No need to go anywhere else.”
