I’ve been coming to Ultimate MMA for over a year now. This place is the place to be if you want to learn from the best. The instructors and students here all care about your progression as a Jiu-jitsu practitioner. The instructors and most students also compete so you know that you’re getting instructions/lessons that are useful both in real world application and in competitions. The owner of the gym, Andrew, also trains in Jiu-jitsu and in Muay Thai to make sure he is providing his students with the most up to date techniques. I have definitely seen a change in my fitness and confidence because of Ultimate MMA. I would recommend anyone to come here to learn, have fun, or just have a great workout.

I specifically wanted to train Marcelo Garcia Jiu Jitsu and that's exactly what you'll get here, in both Gi and No Gi. Along with Boxing, Muay Thai, and a women's boot camp, your younger children can come to train and learn a skill that will not only offer them a safe, fun environment, but serve them the rest of their lives. This facility is large, clean and packed full of competitive champions. Not only do they get out there and do it, but they get out there and keep doing it. No one is made to feel uncomfortable at any age or skill level. They have female instructors as well as males and the women teach the younger kids. My daughter went for her trial day and she loved it. They make the kids classes fun. I've been coming close to six months now and I haven't met one person that wasn't kind or helpful. I really look forward to training here a long time, making new friends with nice people and entering Jiu Jitsu competitions. The trial class is free with no commitment. Come give it a try, it will change and improve your life for the better.

Andrew Calandrelli is not only extremely knowledgeable, he is also a talented teacher. I've been to other martial arts schools, some good, some not so much and I have never had the quality of instruction that I've had at this school. The students range in skill level from beginner to expert, but I've noticed that if you train with someone who is much better than you are, it's likely that they'll take a moment to give you some tips to make you better.
